Our EPI Wood Adhesive (Emulsion Polymer Isocyanate) is a high-performance, two-component water-based wood adhesive for structural and exterior use. It blends a modified aqueous polymer emulsion (resin) with an isocyanate cross-linking agent (hardener); mixed, they cure through chemical cross-linking into a dense, three-dimensional network—a benchmark EPI wood adhesive for load-bearing joints.
This two-part wood adhesive beats the water and heat limits of single-component PVA glues. It passes the EN 204 D4 maximum waterproof test and the JAS peel test, holding structural-grade strength even after boiling-water cycles. With a 100:10 to 100:12 glue-to-hardener ratio, it is the ideal structural wood adhesive for edge gluing, finger jointing, and glulam.
